We threw him his first "real" birthday party with all his little friends. There were 7 kids at the party and while initially I was terrified of managing that many kiddos and parents, the party was fantastic. The weather was perfect, the kids all played like angels in the backyard and Mac had a great day.

Mac's Chocolate Dump Truck Cake. For weeks before the party, whenenver Aaron or I asked him what kind of party he wanted for his birthday, he'd say "Chocate, I want a chocate party." So he got chocolate with chocolate filling and oreo "dirt" on top! I think he enjoyed it:
